At New Universe Foods, we are guided by a commitment to creating the best, cleanest foods in the world, to power your best life. We believe that the human body is an incredible healing machine, and under the proper conditions, it will thrive. All of our products are made with that intention in mind.

We began in 2014 on a quest to create a convenient, nutrient-rich drink mix that would nourish and balance the body naturally: Self Balancing Food. SBF became our foundation but that was just the beginning.

Our Journey

2014

Why We Started

New Universe Food began with a simple belief: people deserve access to thoughtfully made foods and botanical products. We set out to create products rooted in careful ingredient selection, traditional food practices, and everyday usability.

2014

A Food-First Approach

Inspired by Korean food traditions and developed with input from practitioners familiar with traditional Korean wellness practices, we focused on familiar ingredients such as vegetables, sprouted grains, herbs, and botanicals. This approach informed our early product development, including Self Balancing Food.

2015

Growing in Florida

We established our manufacturing operations at Ease Land Organic Farm in Florida to bring farming and product development closer together. We grow select ingredients on the farm and carefully source additional ingredients from trusted partners. Our work includes organic farming practices and soil-focused cultivation methods suited to Florida’s growing conditions.

2022

Discovering Black Turmeric

During a farm test plot, we began growing black turmeric, botanically identified as Curcuma caesia. Its distinctive blue rhizome and long history of traditional use inspired further product development. Today, black turmeric is a signature botanical in the New Universe Food collection.

2023

From Farm to Product

Our product development follows the seasons and ingredients available to us. The collection includes turmeric-infused honey made with honey from our farm, as well as teas, powders, and black turmeric capsules. We develop each format to make our farm-grown and thoughtfully sourced ingredients easy to incorporate into daily routines.

This Year

Fermented Foods and Kimchi

This year, New Universe Food expands into fermented foods with the launch of our kimchi collection. Inspired by time-honored fermentation traditions, our kimchi is made with carefully selected ingredients and traditional fermentation methods to bring vibrant, tangy flavor to everyday meals.

Hand-Crafted

We work closely with farm partners and select ingredients with attention to harvest timing, quality, and traceability. Ingredients for our ground spices, teas, honey, and mixes are chosen and handled with care before becoming part of the products we make.
