At New Universe Foods, we are guided by a commitment to creating the best, cleanest foods in the world, to power your best life. We believe that the human body is an incredible healing machine, and under the proper conditions, it will thrive. All of our products are made with that intention in mind.

We began in 2014 on a quest to create a convenient, nutrient-rich drink mix that would nourish and balance the body naturally: Self Balancing Food. SBF became our foundation but that was just the beginning.

The Problem We Saw in the World

We recognized a heartbreaking pattern: preventable illnesses and chronic fatigue were robbing Americans and our families of their energy and joy. Our mission is to provide daily access to truly clean, powerful nutrition, helping them live healthier, longer, happier lives.

The Root of the Solution

Our solution, developed with Korean traditional medicine doctors, balances the five major organs for improved energy and vitality. We use simple, familiar ingredients—everyday vegetables and sprouted grains—avoiding trendy superfoods. This single philosophy created our hero product: Self Balancing Food. One product. One philosophy. One mission.

2022

Farming Our Own Ingredients

In 2015, to ensure the purest ingredients, we relocated our factory on-site to Ease Land Organic Farm in Florida, where we now source many of our product ingredients. We use regenerative methods, adhering to the principle that what the soil is fed becomes what the human body eventually eats. Despite the difficulty of Florida’s sandy soil, we successfully persisted in planting crops like persimmons, pears, and blueberries to fulfill our mission.

2022

Black Turmeric Discovery

We discovered Black Turmeric (Curcuma caesia) during a test plot, stunned by its vibrant blue rhizomes. Research confirmed the rare, endangered plant has exceptional potential for energy and circulation. Black Turmeric is now our signature crop. Our mission is to restore it through regenerative organic farming and share its benefits worldwide.

Product Innovation Driven by the Farm

Our product line evolves naturally from the farm: Turmeric-Infused Honey (using on-site raw honey), various Powders/Teas, and Black Turmeric Capsules. Encapsulation added accessibility, while the oral Black Turmeric powder offers a unique, fast-acting burst of clarity and energy. Both formats strengthen the product line.

Today

Today, Ease Land Organic Farm (regenerative, nutrient-dense) and the New Universe Food brand (Black Turmeric line, functional foods) form a seamless, vertically integrated ecosystem: Seed → Customer. This ensures no middlemen, chemicals, or compromises. We are expanding distribution in 2025 to share our clean, functional nutrition with more families.

Hand-Crafted

We work closely with our farming partner and receive produce on the day of harvest - meaning that all the ingredients in our ground spices, teas, jams, and mixes are hand-selected and truly as fresh as it gets. No shipping or long-term storage, and no middle-men.

Absolutely fantastic product. The balance between the natural sweetness of the honey and the warm kick of ginger is spot on. You can tell immediately that the ingredients are high quality and thoughtfully prepared. It’s incredibly versatile — great in tea, drizzled over yogurt or toast, and even as a natural boost when you’re feeling under the weather.

What really stands out is how clean and authentic the flavor is - no artificial taste, just pure honey with a perfect ginger infusion. Once you try it, it’s hard to go back to regular honey. Highly recommended.

I lost 45 lbs in days. My body felt so satisfied the first time I tried. I “ate” the grain and veggie twice a day, breakfast and dinner with other foods but a bit less than I had. The SBF eliminated my cravings bc it provided what my body needed. I really like the traditional science behind the formula. Here are some tips: start gradually allowing your body to adjust. Be patient and try to get used to having an empty stomach. The more days you eat your hunger will dissipate.

Love this black turmeric powder! Very hard to find Black Turmeric in the first place and this one tastes and smells very clean (please note black turmeric is naturally very bitter in taste and earthy in smell) compared to other ones I've tried. Been taking Black Turmeric for 2 years now for health and natural medicinal purposes (gum inflammation and cleansing of digestion tract) and notice a difference in internal body smell and lessening of gum soreness. Also use it to soak my nightguard retainer to keep it clean as it eliminates any smells..
